This is the "Andante" from the 2nd Sonata (out of six) that J. S. Bach composed between 1703 and 1720. To be honest I have had a lifetime dislike for this piece. I had Segovia's transcription in my archives and I never understood why I didn't like it... until I realized that the melody was too deep and in an awkward position for the guitar. I recently decided to re-arrange it putting the voice up an octave. Violá! Now I liked the piece!! Now it can sing and breath... I can only hope and wish for that you like it too...
