Maria Linnemann was born in 1947 in Amsterdam, Holland, and grew up in England. She developed an early love for English, Scottish and Irish folklore.
She studied conducting, piano and violin at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Since 1971 she has lived in Germany, working as a composer, teacher and performer.

P.S. This guitar is looking for a new master.

If I'm not wrong I think this is most popular composition by Maria Linnemann. Very nice indeed. And well played too.

Thanks a lot! Till the recent time I didn't know about this piece. I recorded it after the request of my students. I suppose this music is very nice and it attracts many amateurs of the classical guitar
