Toccata and Fugue BWV 565 in d minor originally written by J.S. Bach is one the most famous work in the organ repertoire ever composed. Bach composed it between 1703-1707, but no one is sure of the exact date. Original manuscript did not survived. Some scholars suggest that it might have been written for violin or harpsichord, and few believe that this famous piece have not been written by Bach at all!
Many people will be familiar with Toccata and Fugue and its three dramatic opening followed by the low, growling pedal note. But I guess not that many have heard it arranged and performed on solo classical guitar.
Performance in video is by Viktor Ilić, May 8, 2015. VIktor also the one who transcribed this famous piece for guitar.
