Sonata R.115 in D minor composed by Antonio Soler, Spanish composer (1729 – 1783), transcribed for classical guitar and performed by Kathy Acosta Zavala from Lima, Peru.
Kathy holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from the University of Arizona and has been learning at the Masters in Classical Guitar Interpretation of the guitar world University of Alicante from the living legends, such as David Russell, Pepe Romero, Odair Assad, Fabio Zanon, Manuel Barrueco and several more. In 2014, she won the Leonard and David Schaeffer Memorial Guitar Competition and was the first female guitarist to ever win.
