Antoine Boyer is extremely talented French guitarist most often associated with gypsy jazz genre. Indeed Antoine learned the guitar from the most authentic sources of gypsy jazz and as young adept of guitar played with such masters as Mandino Reinhardt and Francis-Alfred Moerman, with whom he recorded his first CD-DVD in 2009. At very young age he performed at the Angers Gypsy Swing festival in 2010, and at the Django Reinhardt festival (Samois) in 2011. His second album, "Leské", released in 2011 received several awards including Trad Mag's 'Bravo' award. Boyer already appeared at most major gypsy jazz festivals in Europe and the United States, sharing the stage with such masters as Philip Catherine, Angelo Debarre, Stochelo Rosenberg, Christian Escoudé and many others.
Antoine Boyer also studied classical guitar with Gérard Abiton in Paris. He has won the 2015 Montigny Classical Guitar Contest and has been nominated "révélation Guitare Classique 2016" by the French magazine Guitare Classique.
In video we can watch him playing classical guitar, but performing famous jazz repertoire. "We Will Meet Again" is composition by jazz pianist Bill Evans, addressed to Bill Evans' older brother Harry after the suicide.

Amazing! For a moment I thought there was 2 instruments and a dubbed recording. Then I realized he played it all. Respect!

Terrific, thanks. Not one of Bill Evans more commonly played compositions. He was a terrific composer. You catch the spirit well, including the improvised part, which is understated compared to how Evans would play it, but I think works better than if you tried to be Bill 2.
