Dear Musical Friends, the piece you are here listening is Tristorosa : one of Villa-Lobos's earliest piano compositions. It is a waltz in a popular style of the day, and has a sentimental tone, colored with Chopinesque figures.
This music raised so many memories of a trip of mine in the beautiful county of Yorkshire. For this reason you can see some images of those wild beautiful places.
