Sophia's Journey by Frederic Hand

Frederic Hand composed and performed this lovely piece for his granddaughter Sophia.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Hand was first attracted by jazz music and music of Bill Evans, John Coltrane, and Miles Davis. Later he graduated from the Mannes School of Music, and studied with classical guitarist Julian Bream. In 1984 Hand became guitarist and lutenist for the Metropolitan Opera. Frederic Hamd was the one to perform Vivaldi piece for the movie "Kramer vs. Kramer" starred by Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep.
