Maria Linnemann composed this music this year and she decided to dedicate it to me.
What a great honor!
She said about this piece: "It was inspired by a poem written by a poet of the '27 generation', Emilio Prados. Many poets fled Spain at the time of the civil war, and found a new home in S. America or Mexico. But they homesick, and their poems reflect their sadness. Prados' poem is called 'Cancion', and begins: Puente de mi soledad: con las aguas di mi muerte tus ojos se calmaran...."
