Koyunbaba is Turkish word and means "sheep-father" or "shepherd". It is also the name of a wild region of Southwest Turkey.
Born in Italy Domeniconi was studying guitar in Berlin, Germany, but later visited Turkey and became enamoured with Turkish culture.
