In june 2010 I was given, as a birthday present, a live concert with Sir Paul McCartney in Dublin, Ireland! One of the best gifts I have ever received! It was an amazing experience and I even shed a tear standing so close to my childhood hero listening to him play "Blackbird, Yesterday, Back in the USSR and all those songs that changed my life. Sigh...
We spent a couple of days in Dublin and had several walks in the old town and many coffee breaks! ( And a pint or two of Guinness, of course).
I later made a sketch for this piece and only now completed it. I play it on my Alto guitar (also a gift... I am very gifted...LOL) but I don't use the extra strings since it was composed for a normal guitar. This should be played with a Capotasto in 3rd fret so playing it on this guitar was perfect.
