Berta Rojas - El día que me quieras

On May 18, 2015 Paraguayan classical guitarist Berta Rojas released her latest album "History of Tango", recorded with the iconic chamber orchestra Camerata Bariloche from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The album was nominated for Latin Grammy Award in "Best Tango Album" category. This was 3rd Latin Grammy nomination for Berta Rojas, unfortunately she never won one.
Soon after Berta was diagnosed breast cancer, but she did not give up,. She continues her career as a guitarist and double her efforts to popularize the guitar instrument, the music of her native Paraguay and entire Latin America region, continues to support Paraguayan children.
El día que me quieras (The Day that You Love Me) presented in video by Berta Rojas and Camerata Bariloche is tango composition by Carlos Gardel written in 1935 for the film of the same name. It became popular tango standard, often recorded even by artists outside of the realm of tango. The song with the lyrics by Alfredo Le Pera was inducted into the Latin Grammy Hall of Fame in 2001.
