Beautiful love ballad written by Jimmy Van Heusen (1913 – 1999), American composer writing songs for films, television and theater. Van Heusen was very profilic composer. He wrote over 60 songs in 1940 alone and much more since he teamed up with the lyricist Johnny Burke in 1940. His most famous songs are "Darn That Dream", "All the Way", "My Kind of Town", "Love and Marriage", "Come Fly with Me", "Only the Lonely", and "Come Dance with Me". From over 800 songs by Jimmy Van Heusen 50 became standards. Jimmy won Emmy and four Academy Awards for Best Original Song and was inducted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1971.
